I just had (another) 2h of fun with trying to get a few N900 parts through German customs

it's pretty hard to tell them about true value of old electronic (or even not electronic) stuff sent from China, particularly when it *looks* like a smartphone of sorts - this one lacks the PCB though

Also there seems to be basically zero interest from anyone in working on the important NeoFremantle software pieces like the audio stack or the cellular stuff. I would come back and help except that I dont have the time to do so right now
