still no explanation for "partitiontype = 06" but at least it explains why it doesn't boot anymore and also why it booted before, even with odd partition type

DocScrutinizer05: Well, I posted what my notes were so far on http://projects.goldelico.com/p/neo900/issues/686/ in case anyone finds them useful. I was hoping to help out with the project now, but I'm not really sure now what contributions are actually going to be used by anyone.
<ZetaR>
but now*
<DocScrutinizer05>
sorry I can't give guarantees for stuff getting used whenevr it got provided
<ZetaR>
Well, I know there are no guarantees, but an atmosphere of uncertainty really dampens creativity and motivation.
<ZetaR>
Sorry, I don't mean to complain. I just don't really know how to proceed.
<DocScrutinizer05>
I fail to understand what's the problem with >> So thanks for bringing up this topic to our attention, but please don't be disappointed if we can't work it in immediately (or in a way that it can be recognized in the end).<<
<DocScrutinizer05>
naybe it would help a lot when you'd tell us what you expect from us
<ZetaR>
I guess my problem may be that I have trouble communicating and it didn't seem like I managed to communicate what was said. The issue being closed just seemed a very abrupt end... are new contributions on the problem welcome, unwelcome? It seems relevant now to me, differently than to others. IDK, I am not very good at picking up on what people mean, or talking to other people.
<ZetaR>
I guess what I was expecting was something along the lines of "Well, there is this this and this issue to consider, and how do you intend to fit this in with where we are in the development, etc.".
<ZetaR>
Maybe that is what you were saying about the mailing list.
<ZetaR>
I interpreted the bug tracker as meaning something like "here is where concrete information goes".
<ZetaR>
As opposed to devel conversation (mailing or IRC).
<DocScrutinizer05>
so? where's the problem?
<ZetaR>
I don't know what to do.
<DocScrutinizer05>
so far your info looked good
<DocScrutinizer05>
except the last stuff which indeed isn't really helpful to others, like you already remarked
<DocScrutinizer05>
why don't you simply continue with that you did?
<ZetaR>
That would be welcome?
<DocScrutinizer05>
I fail to get what's the problem
<ZetaR>
The problem is that I don't understand what the actual meaning of the reply and closing the issue is within the context of e.g. what was in my notes.
<DocScrutinizer05>
Nik sometimes may sound a bit rude, that's prolly because he as well as me are also "have trouble communicating"
<ZetaR>
I will keep that in mind. So you think I should just continue my analysis?

the site mentions a shop which is invite-only by some vouchers; does it mean that it's not possible to make a new order right now?
<ZetaR>
grylli: It is just to prevent overloading the site, since it just went up. Didn't work very well because someone posted it to Slashdot. =P
<ZetaR>
Though, I am not sure what the phase of the site deployment.
<grylli>
haha slashdot people must be happy around now then :-)
<ZetaR>
Heh, yeah I think Slashdot takes some sadistic pleasure in crashing websites. Though, it wasn't good for the project from what I hear. A lot of potential publicity lost because the server wasn't prepared for the load.
<grylli>
I see it's still the old whatever it was website platform... will come back to localizing the website later, if I get around to it. I think international audience would help.
<grylli>
You have a great time. I will come later.

I gave him the link in PM because I didn't know if you wanted it announced to the whole room.

DocScrutinizer05: Are these caps metric or imperial? 0201 imperial = 0603 metric, and there is also a 0603 imperial (that this is actually a problem that can happen is rediculous!)

0402 metric = 01005 imperial, 0603 metric = 0201 imperial, 1005 metric = 0402 imperial, 1608 metric = 0603 imperial. There are two collisions in the common sizes!
