grmbl. git access on projects seems to be broken. oddly enough, the rest of the server seems to be fine
<wpwrak_>
or maybe it forgot my pubkey ?
<wpwrak_>
all looks fine in forge management, though

wpwrak_: how do you normally assign a different track width for different route ?

<DocScrutinizer05>
I finally found out how to do that for manual routing in Eagle, NFC about the autorouter still, I guess it simply can't do it
<DocScrutinizer05>
Eagle has a pretty powerful scripting but I dunno if it already provides stuff like copy/replace properties of existing traces
<DocScrutinizer05>
on that LED star I manually edited width of every single trace segment :-S
<DocScrutinizer05>
and somehow it eventually seemed like the snap grid sudeenly been offset to what all the component placements been before, so the traces entered the pads at weird angles
<DocScrutinizer05>
suddenly*

DocScrutinizer05: cool...i found a way to change the track for ALL traces but seems like it's tricky to do it for few traces
<nicksydney>
even manually i can't set it
<nicksydney>
there must be some settings

(track widths) have a look under Design Rules > Design Rules. there you can define track properties and assign them to nets. (you should name all non-default nets for make that easier to use)

the slides are funny, but how did he google tcp port 32764 if he didn't have internet (which was the reason he found the opened port in the first place)

(I especially like how the URL ends with /happy/)

not yet. i checked it, though, and it looked good

nope. same problem.
<larsc>
maybe too many user ;)
<larsc>
btw you also have a wa2 account
<wpwrak_>
yeah. and it "owns" werner@almesberger.net. and i can't delete it. galling :(
<larsc>
I can delete it
<wpwrak_>
how ?
<larsc>
at least I think I can
<larsc>
lets open up the managerment panel
<wpwrak_>
maybe if you go underneat the forge interface. but i haven't found any option to eliminate accounts, only to deactivate them
<wpwrak_>
#s/neat/neath/
<larsc>
right. but you can change the mail address
<DocScrutinizer05>
hehe
<wpwrak_>
yeha, i could do that ...
<dos1>
kyak: you misread the slides, he had internet connection - he just wanted to limit the bandwidth to other users because speed was unbearable :P
<DocScrutinizer05>
I aheva hard time to *read* the slides at all ;-)
<DocScrutinizer05>
have a *
<DocScrutinizer05>
random quote from TV: "frigate birds stay flying for months, without ever landing" - wow, what a weird imagination
<whitequark>
uh?
<whitequark>
oh, you mean mental picture? of flying frigates
<DocScrutinizer05>
yeah
<DocScrutinizer05>
figure you are a frigate bird
<DocScrutinizer05>
;-)
<DocScrutinizer05>
would you consider anything your hone?
<DocScrutinizer05>
home*
<DocScrutinizer05>
how would you watch TV? X-P
<whitequark>
I was just reading a book whose author rather vividly described the experience of being on LSD
<DocScrutinizer05>
I definitely don't need such chemicals ;-)
<whitequark>
yes, I was trying to find a polite way to say that :p
<whitequark>
lack of sleep works rather well for me. it feels amazing (at times), yet people seriously ask whether I'm on drugs
<whitequark>
weirdos
<pcercuei>
LSD is for people who actually sleep at night :)
<DocScrutinizer05>
I think it's time to leave this flat and have some dinner - first time this year
<whitequark>
you didn't eat for five days?
<whitequark>
not that I'm too surprised
<DocScrutinizer05>
yeah, it starts to get ridiculously silly
<DocScrutinizer05>
switching operation mode of brain away from "sit at PC and do nonsense" to anything significantly different becomes more difficult with every day I sit here
<DocScrutinizer05>
probably a kind of addiction
<wpwrak_>
now we just need to find some nicely addictive games for you :)
<DocScrutinizer05>
why games? the PC itself is game enough
<whitequark>
what do you usually do?
<DocScrutinizer05>
just wondered how to turn one of my remote boxen into a private DNS server, so I don't have to use the ones my ISP provides
<DocScrutinizer05>
213.133.100.100 alas only works from my hetzner box
<whitequark>
I'd install dnsmasq
<DocScrutinizer05>
so ponding if a ssh port forward could already do is _my_ sort of gaming
<DocScrutinizer05>
pondering
<DocScrutinizer05>
I definitely need to try getting out of this flat and away from this PC now
<DocScrutinizer05>

<larsc>
It's important to keep your inventory low ;)
<wpwrak_>
so do i. durable groceries :)
<wpwrak_>
and "just-in-time" means of course the expiration date
<larsc>
I never have food for more than 2 or 3 days in the house, which means I'm going to get problems in case of a zombie uprising
