<whooo> hi, I'm having a problem starting from a SD card, I get the error "VFS: Cannot open root device", but then it lists possible partitions to boot from, and mmcblk0p1 is there, what could the problem be?
<larsc> wrong filesystem
<whooo> I double checked that, ext2, rootfstype is set to ext2 too
<whooo> ext2 is compiled into the kernel too
<larsc> are there any other messages?
<DocScrutinizer> yay, silent here
<kristianpaul> not at all
<kristianpaul> but seems i should not do decimation..
<whooo> larsc: well, not really, first that it can't open the root device, then a list of partitions that it should be able to use and then that it can't mount the root fs
<whitequark> DocScrutinizer: have you read my PM's?
