there was an interesting discussion on Github about whether it was necessary to have permissioned access to encrypted data, i think it was Juan Bennet that said encryption basically assumes your attackers have access to your data so basically all people being able to access encrypted data shouldnt be considered a vulnerability.

bitmessage makes that assumption too. its an interesting question for if you want to have your friends, or even your enemies, back up your files.

When I use `files.cp` to copy someone else’s file by a CID into my MFS directory, is there a way for me to give it my own filename? Or am I stuck with the `name` being equal to the `hash`? I had assumed I’d be able to just write a new filename at the end of the destination path, but even if I use `{parents: true}` I get an error that the destination doesn’t exist.
