I'm looking for a opinions on the most appropriate URL structure to use for a blog I'm creating (don't ask me why I'm writing yet another blog).
<Wardrop>
I've decided to support the date idiom for accessing the full archive of articles, e.g. /2012, /2012/02, /2012/02/04
<Wardrop>
I've also though about getting rid of typical page enumeration, e.g. /page/2 and instead support ranges and use that for pagination, e.g. /5-10 for articles 5 to 10

in find()

it's also JSON output I'm trying to limit the fields that come back in the model for performance instead of post query filtering, but if I don't include :select or do :select => "*" it sends JSON output back to the browser
