<wpwrak> fun for the whole family, with adobe: http://zed0.co.uk/crossword/
<wpwrak> heh. solved one on the first try :)
* larsc only managed to slove 2
<larsc> failed on the pets name for 1
<wpwrak> i think we can now safely replace "dumb as a bale of hay" with "skilled as adobe's web security team".

<larsc> 201-300: 9 across "dog"?!
jekhor has quit [Ping timeout: 252 seconds]
<wpwrak> pretty much all words have "dog"
<larsc> numbers, 123..., dog ;)

<wpwrak> yay. solved 201-300 on the first try, too :)
<wpwrak> darn. on 101-200, i got he capitalization wrong. so, 2 tries :-(
<larsc> the P?
<wpwrak> yeah
<wpwrak> it's the only capital letter in the first three puzzles :)
<wpwrak> 301-400, also 2 tries :-( one typo and i didn't catch the number twist
jekhor has quit [Ping timeout: 240 seconds]
<wpwrak> 401-500 technically on the 2nd (one typo). they seem to get easier as they get less common, as the hints get more specific

<viric> kyak: filegive signed.
<viric> wpwrak: solving the adobe crossword?
<wpwrak> yya, 501-600, 1st try :) had to google one name, though. not being up to date on vampire lore can be a disadvantage.
<wpwrak> grmbl. 601-700, 2 tires. got the ball game wrong. and needed google again for us sports.

<wpwrak> 701-800, 8 across, "We were robbed". bwahaha :)
<viric> another thing is to find the des3 password, right?
<wpwrak> hehe, 701-800 5 across is too easy :)
<wpwrak> yeah. given their track record, it should in the top ten or so.
<wpwrak> 801-900, 1st try :) it *is* getting easier
<kyak> viric: cool, thanks! )
<viric> it's the 1st time I sign a file
<wpwrak> hmm, 901-1000 was hard. two lookups, and still got one letter wrong. MORE !
<ysionnea1> wpwrak: hey, sorry I did not follow all the discussion, what's the keyboard for?
<ysionnea1> (anelok)
jekhor has joined #qi-hardware
<wpwrak> the keyboard is for more extensive editing. e.g., when you want to add new accounts. the wheel would be inconvenient for that. you could still use it, but you'll probably hate the experience very quickly.
<ysionnea1> I thought you could use the host computer connected via USB to add new accounts
<ysionnea1> or directly write to the SDCARD connected to a computer
<ysionnea1> maybe that's insecure?
<wpwrak> yes, you could use the computer. but if you don't trust it, you can use a "dumb" keyboard
<wpwrak> the NSA won't put USD 1000 worth of spy tech into every keyboard on the market :) the kinde you buy for USD 10 at most :)
<ysionnea1> understood
<larsc> wpwrak: of course they only put them into the keyboards of paranoid people

<DocScrutinizer05> build your own NSA free phone - or let us build it for you ;-)
<DocScrutinizer05> and before you ask: no, we don't know what's in the modem firmware but we know definitely modem is off when we say "OFF!" and there's no possible thread in modem online that's not already immanent in GSM principle. Same applies for WLAN and BT
<DocScrutinizer05> no, we don't have shared RAM, and we don't run softmac
<wpwrak> yeah. that's as good as it can get.
<DocScrutinizer05> may I quote you on that?
<wpwrak> sure :)
<DocScrutinizer05> :)
<wpwrak> it's basically what we had in openmoko.
<DocScrutinizer05> yes, sure
<DocScrutinizer05> actually once we publish the eagle project files, it's way more than OM ever did
lekernel has quit [Quit: Leaving]
<DocScrutinizer05> we actually publish the *complete* schematics, *including* the project files so you could build your own device right away
<DocScrutinizer05> from scratch
<DocScrutinizer05> comsidering modem as a component the module it actually is
