<mth>
it builds fine with the NN config, but is untested
<xiangfu>
mth, oh. you fast .
<xiangfu>
mth, I will test that.
<mth>
it does seem to work fine on the Dingoo
<xiangfu>
report back here.
<xiangfu>
mth, the jz-3.2 works fine in Nanonote . but I remove a lot of code not relate to Ben Nanonote in openwrt-xburst.git.
<mth>
I have squashed a lot of commits when going from jz-3.2 to jz-3.3, so it should be less effort to skip some code now
<xiangfu>
the nand works fine out of box. in jz-3.0 there is some typo on ben nanonote nand bank.
<mth>
yes, I made a bank-autodetect patch that requires the banks to be search to be specified, but forgot to update the NN board file to specify the bank
<mth>
that is fixed in 3.2 and 3.3 though
<xiangfu>
great.
<xiangfu>
and Werner's atBen code works fine in jz-3.2.
<wolfspraul>
good!
<mth>
I saw some 6LoWPAN changes mentioned in the 3.3 ChangeLog, but I don't know if it's related to wpwrak's work
<xiangfu>
mth, should I update the WPAN(atben/atusb) branch? for now I keep those WPAN code in openwrt-xburst.git. what do you advice?
<xiangfu>
mth, then I will pay attention on atBen with 3.3 :-)
<wpwrak>
mth: maybe they pushed a bit more of the stack
<xiangfu>
wolfspraul, maybe because this qi-kernel is too big? now it's ~834MB
<mth>
xiangfu: update in what way? create a patch based on jz-3.3, or merge the changes into the jz-3.3 branch?
<wolfspraul>
xiangfu: yes I know, but my only plan about that is to remove indefero and switch to more common server-side sw - but that todo is in the long queue somewhere.
<wolfspraul>
so unless this problems bothers very much now, just ignore it if you can.
<xiangfu>
mth, I would like create a patch based on jz-3.3 for easy review and 'create patch for upstream'
<wolfspraul>
I think the git access itself is still fine
<mth>
oops... I didn't have all of Ayla's commits on jz-3.2 merged locally yet
<mth>
should not matter for NN though
<mth>
but I have to update my git cheat sheet for kernel updates
<xiangfu>
wolfspraul, git is fine.
<mth>
personally, I think managing patches as git commits is easier than managing patches as patch files
<xiangfu>
hmm... one big patch will be problem in future. I will try to merge then rebase on top of jz3.3

hi, just upgradat to the mar-18 image. where is the "bart" ebook reader app?
<wolfspraul>
I think it dropped out because of some dependency issues
<wolfspraul>
but then Alan sent a patch? something like that
<dvdk>
hi wolfspraul; just stumbled over alan's mail. looks like a genuinly broken build recipie that just accidentally worked before the openwrt rebase :)
<dvdk>
so here I continue to use Emacs as an ebook reader :)
* dvdk
is going to have a long break until 'make world' finishes :/
