What you did is created an executable out of syntax.ml, but this module doesn't really define a program by itself, only some functions

I think bitstring is used for this kind of things

Algebr: No, and there is a good reason for that: title is mandatory inside head.
<Drup>
(not everything, because some of it is not encodable in the type system)

I'm seeing tags and attributes that I've never seen before thanks to tyxml

<tobiasBo1>
Hello !
ztennix has quit [Ping timeout: 265 seconds]
<tobiasBo1>
I'm playing with Netclient/Netsmtp in order to talk to a smtp server using an SSL encrypted channel. I managed to open a connection with Ssl.open_connection_with_context
<tobiasBo1>
/Ssl.connect
<tobiasBo1>
however I don't see how I can send it to Netsmtp that I could like to use to talk to the SMTP server
<tobiasBo1>
(I already do that when I use the port 587 and it's really easy to use)
<tobiasBo1>
I can see that the Netsmtp library can take in parameter an in/out channel
<tobiasBo1>
however it's not a classical unix input channel, but a "in_obj_channel"

So is it possible to convert a unix channel into an in_obj_channel ?

<pippijn>
method close_in : unit -> unit
<pippijn>
why?
<pippijn>
what is the unit parameter for?
<tobiasBo1>
pippijn: because it must be a function no ?
<pippijn>
but it's a method
<pippijn>
not a function
ncthom91 has joined #ocaml
<pippijn>
it's a method returning a function
<tobiasBo1>
Hum... Well I don't know
<pippijn>
# (object method x = print_endline "hey" end)#x;;
<pippijn>
hey
<pippijn>
- : unit = ()
<tobiasBo1>
Maybe netchannels.mli is the solution
<flux>
pippijn, some like to make methods so that side-effectful operations take at least one argument
<pippijn>
I see
<flux>
pippijn, of course, this can be quite convenient when you want to partially apply it
paddymahoney has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
<pippijn>
right, you can turn it into a function easily

Hi. Recently I've started reading the "Real world OCaml" book. And they use the Core module which version isn't fully compatible with 112.35.00. I could find documentation only for the old version... Where can I find documentation for the new version?
