<wowon> Libv : Sorry ... I just back to irc. I open my tablet ...it's ly-f1 clone. there is no 'free' solder pad in it. event for ball A21-A23 that is at most outer side of the processor.
<libv> wowon: the droid x360 is a ly-f1 clone?
<libv> i have a rather hard time believing that
<wowon> Libv : sorry ... misundertood. Nope .. I don't have X360 in my hand. Thats why I post question about it. Hope that it's buttons is directly access the GPIO so that I can hack it easyly
<libv> wowon: what do you want to do with the droid x360?
<libv> in other words, what do you mean with "hack it"
<wowon> libv : i'm building kindof taxi dispatching system. I want tp deploy kind of tablet as the in-car side. but I also need a solution for 'button' that can be placed where the driver can reach it easy and quick
<wowon> typo --> tp=to , kindof = kind off
<libv> get an olinuxino
<wowon> libV : I knew . but the price of total solution based on olinuxino can't beat the price of tablet. well I have plan-b for the worst case. I'll use small arduino for the 'external button'.. http://digistump.com/products/1
<rz2k> stop trying to build industrial/reliable systems on chinese hardware without support
<rz2k> in 99% this ends badly
<wowon> rz2k :thanks for your clue
<rz2k> you are welcome, there are many
<rz2k> only the guys who did the new sunxi-mtd drivers in the mailing list, they seem to be making such system on A10 and custom boards.
<rz2k> something is wrong with my irc client
<rz2k> lets try it again: [05:44:08] <rz2k> you are welcome, there are many
<rz2k> interesting, kvirc chops of messages. need to get to good old irssi.
<wowon> anyway ... when I plug my sd that created based on Pengpod700_latest image, my tablet go freaky. the power-up sequence not smooth ..i need to press it so long until the boot process start. it's not happen when I unplug it ...
<rz2k> whats on uart?
<rz2k> checked the backside of the board?
<rz2k> (for uart testpoints)

<mnemoc> try updating the u-boot/spl of the card first
<rellla> mnemoc: ok. i'll try it. seems i have a very old version there ...

<hozer> so, uh, the wiki seems down.. how do I get something flashed onto nandd
<mnemoc> to a particular partition, dd usually
<mnemoc> full nand, via livesuit
<mnemoc> the wiki is been relocated
<hozer> well, I have a BDDgroup wizard board, and if I hit '1' during boot it exports a drive over usb mass-storage
<hozer> I'm assuming it's exporting /dev/nande
<mnemoc> nice feature
<hozer> It appears to come with u-boot
<hozer> I've got a rather early board as they don't have all the docs written up yet :)
<sanka> isn't that just fel?
<sanka> downloading nand over adb?
<hozer> maybe, I am trying to catch up on all the acronym soup going on here
<mnemoc> afaik neither fel or adb exports partitions as usb storage
<mnemoc> it's far more reasonable the idea of u-boot doing so

<mnemoc> will feel slower as the official name is proxying to the new server until the migration of all other sites is completed
Undertasker has left #linux-sunxi [#linux-sunxi]
<hozer> and yes, it's u-boot doing the export
