<bart416> Tomorrow I should know if I can proceed to the next round for that schollarship or not
<bart416> Bah, stupid stress
<bart416> Hence why I'm going to go and do some more demolition work this afternoon
<bart416> lol
<azonenberg> lol
<bart416> + I get paid for it
<bart416> 15 euro / hour
<bart416> w00t
<azonenberg> lol have fun
<azonenberg> Do you get to use C4?
<azonenberg> Or just a crowbar and sledgehammer
<bart416> Only worry is that it's an old building that might have asbestos in it
<azonenberg> Oh joy
<bart416> Breaking hammer
<bart416> You know, the sort that makes your arms hurt like hell after 5 minutes :P
<bart416> Try using one for a few hours
<azonenberg> Been there done that
<azonenberg> Except it was more than just a hammer
<azonenberg> small hammer, 4-foot crowbar
<azonenberg> big hammer
<bart416> crowbars aren't that bad
<bart416> The issue with these machines is that they weigh 10kg on their own eh :(
<azonenberg> We arent talking one of those dinky little ones the size of your arm
<azonenberg> This is one that's chest high
<azonenberg> And comes in pairs
<azonenberg> And was used to move a cast iron bathtub
<bart416> lol
<bart416> and then you have to get up on a ladder
<azonenberg> With the added caveat that it had to be taken alive
<bart416> and attack the wall
<bart416> so it doesn't fall over
<bart416> but comes down slowly
<azonenberg> once the remodeling was done, the tub was to be reinstalled lol
<bart416> azonenberg, Bart 1 - Wall 0
<quaoar> hang on, are you the guy whose dad built a wall that might've withstood a tank shell?
<quaoar> whoah, i'm a KBO!
<bart416> my dad didn't build that wall
<bart416> we only demolished it
<bart416> lol
<bart416> But wasn't at home
<bart416> But was a fairly big wall
<bart416> and was on my own to do it
<bart416> but was normal wall thiss time
<bart416> (2 rows of bricks + normal spacing)
<berndj> oh, not another more rebar than concrete type thing
<berndj> easy peasy then!
<bart416> lol yeah
<bart416> If it's a normal wall you crack out the hilti breaking hammer and just go at it
<berndj> in the medium term i'm going to have to build one.  and lower my front boundary wall.  maybe recycle those bricks for the new wall
<CIA-67> homecmos r112 | trunk/lithography-tests/labnotes/azonenberg_labnotes.txt | Fixed typo in yesterday's lab notes
<azonenberg> Well... work for the near future is going to be slow, i'm now stuck waiting until i can get time on the evaporator
<azonenberg> not much more can be done until i have <110> samples to work with
<azonenberg> hopefully next week
<bart416> 'nite
