pang: the one i heard works like this: you take a tampon, soak it in strong alcohol. then insert it rectally. apparently, this produces a faster absorption into the bloodstream than normal ingestion

you're kind of increasing efficiency of injecting alcohol in organism in respect to the amount actually used for getting your brain intoxicated

and as lesser amounts get metabolized, you get lesser amounts of byproducts and side effects

OTOH, it's _way_ easier to get a lethal amount this way, not to mention the irritation and other obvious local effects.
