23:34 <wpwrak> (compatible pcb) naw, the pcb interacts with the mechanical design at a LOT of places. it's already difficult enough to make the design fit one (predefined, i.e., we're very limited in what we can change) case.

23:36 <wpwrak> (news) mostly boring stuff. the memory card holder is a not so nice part, so we tried to see if we could use something else. alas, the alternatives that are compatible have sourcing and/or cost issues. and a different card holder that looked compatible turned out to be quite incompatible. so we'll stick with the one we had at the beginning.
