hi all, i am trying to compile debian rootfs for rk3399, build throws the following error at the end " Failed to run livebuild, please check your network connection." scanning through the debug message i see "Keyring file not available at /usr/share/keyrings/debian-archive-keyring.gpg; switching to https mirror https://deb.debian.org/debian" I can see the file both host and the in the chroot, can i get help to resolve this?
<hanetzer>

<stdint>
hgs, failed at which step
<hgs>
stdint: actually it did not even create binary-tar.tar.gz
<stdint>
give me the full log
<hgs>
only error i could identify was the one i reported before
<hanetzer>
anyone know about loading grub2 from u-boot? I gave it a go and ended up with nada
<stdint>
hanetzer, I didn't think it is possible
<hanetzer>
stdint: it is, apparently. its a viable grub2 target. now, whether or not its actually usable is another question
<stdint>
grub2 would initialize memory itself
<stdint>
unless you disable it

<hanetzer>
I don't think that's the case... grub2 has, to the best of my knowhow, never been ran as anythign other than as a 'payload' for something else which init'd the mem

<hanetzer>
whether that's traditional bios, uefi, coreboot
<beeble>
hanetzer: shouldn't be grub just an uefi payload for u-boot nowadays?
<hanetzer>
beeble: unsure; I hear that uefi u-boot is mostly in the arm64 space
<beeble>
you can also use qemu-debootstrap but i haven't come around to update the docs
<hgs>
beeble: thanks will try the link. between are thr instructions for ubuntu (headless would be sufficient) 64 bit port to rk 3399?
<beeble>
just change the suite name to a ubuntu release and change the urls to ubuntu urls
<beeble>
the procedure is the same
<hgs>
beeble: thanks will try

Hello. Could somebody please advice me what is the proper place to report bugs for gstreamer-rockchip-extra?
<matwey>
When I try to play two videos at the same time using rkximagesink image sink I see screen blinking. It looks like every other frame in each video is substituted by black rectangle.

xrandr gamma setting doesn't work on my C201 (rk3288). Is there some trickery I need to do to get this to work, or does it just generally not work and is not expected to?
<sphalerite>
oh yeah, I should clarify — by "doesn't work" I mean "doesn't report an error but also doesn't make any difference"
<vagrantc>
C201 questions coming out of the woodworks lately :)
