naobsd: I recommend quassel + quasseldroid if you need an irc client
<mmind00>
mrueg naobsd: me too ... especially nice when you can put the quassel-server on a real server and just reconnect to it without loosing conversation after sleeping

just don't get it... still no USB device is being detected using linux-next on radxa
<Omegamoon>
I also tried the MK908III... same problem
<Omegamoon>
anyone willing to share a known working defconfig for radxa?
<mmind00>
Omegamoon: it might also be an issue of the dwc2 driver ... i.e. on the firefly I only get usb-reset messages when when pluggin in stuff at runtime ... detection at boot works though ... if I connect an external hub to the port, I also can plug/unplug at runtime again on the hub itself
<mmind00>
Omegamoon: haven't investigated further yet, but is your usb device also not detected when plugged in at boot?

mmind00: I just tried to boot with a ASIX AX88772A USB 2.0 Ethernet dongle connected, and it is not recognized
<Omegamoon>
let me try with an external hub, that's a good idea
<Omegamoon>
I'll also try connecting a different device, let's say a mouse
<Omegamoon>
mmind00: you're right! the mouse is recognized only on bootup
<Omegamoon>
mmind00: using an external hub doesn't work unfortunately :-(
<Omegamoon>
ah, great. on bootup it now recognizes my ethernet dongle as well: usb 2-1: Product: AX88x72A
<Omegamoon>
what are the chances of success on using the rx30xxnand driver to access NAND by the way, has that been tried?

I've patched the rockchip rk30xxnand 3.10 module so it is identified as a 3.19 module
<Omegamoon>
insmod rk30xxnand_ko.ko.3.19.0 gives a version mismatch

found config options that caused the mismatch, retrying...
<Omegamoon>
the rk30xxnand driver is expecting some routines in the kernel, adding them now...
<Omegamoon>
okay, the nand driver now loads
<Omegamoon>
now, there are 2 versions of the nand driver, one is in a "update" directory. Any idea what the difference between the "update" and the "normal" one is?
<Omegamoon>
is the difference maybe related to the "old" mtd/rknand driver and the "new" arch/arm/mach-rockchip/rknandbase?
<Omegamoon>
first trying the mtd/rknand driver...
<Omegamoon>
weird thing is the mtd/rknand driver seems to break the ethernet connection
<Omegamoon>
now trying the rknandbase driver
