i can type ipfs daemon from anywhere and it works no problem. If i tried starting ipfs from its actual directory with its file though, it wouldnt find the repo

the `which ipfs` command will tell you the full path of the file it's finding.

and if i manualy try to run the file that comes up for which ipfs it also tells me that

It doesnt find the repo if i run the file that way.

(that way being, actualy specifying a directory instead of just running it where the ipfs file is not located)

piajesse: you can use IPFS for storing player data and blockchain for storing user information. for example user registers in your game using his ethereum public key and you can track whole history on ethereum + add a token for anything where you would need to transfer value
