<qi-bot> [commit] Maarten ter Huurne: MIPS: A320: defconfig: Disable "msdos" file system. (jz-3.0) http://qi-hw.com/p/qi-kernel/7c37eec
<wpwrak> hey ! what are you doing to my baby ?! :)
<Ayla> msdos is your baby?
<mth> the dingoo ate it...
<wpwrak> Ayla: well, the msdos file system driver in the linux kernel is. i don't claim any responsibility for the other, erm, parent
<mth> actually, this commit prevents the Dingoo from eating msdos file systems
<wpwrak> wow. i didn't know dingos to be *that* voracious :)
<wpwrak> (plus, to have such a poor taste :)
<mth> they're *wild*
<larsc> wpwrak: a dingoo ate your baby
<kyak> wpwrak: your baby has grown a beard, haven't you noticed? :)
<wpwrak> kyak: it was always a weird one :)
<Freemor> Hmmm... upgraded to Trisquel Dagda and now can't talk to ben. it enumerates o.k. the usb0 interface is brought up the ip address is assigned, routing tables look fine  but ping 192.168.254.101 fails
<Freemor> any thoughts?
<viric> what is Trisquel Dagda?
<Freemor> Roughly based on Ubuntu natty but all the non-free bit removed
<Freemor> was working fine in Trisquel "Slaine" (Based on Ubuntu Maverick) but clearly something has changed :/
<Freemor> Still works fine with my XO so must be something they've done in Dagda/Natty...   Hmmmm
<viric> and what is an XO?
<Freemor> an OLPC XO-1 (http://wiki.laptop.org)
<Freemor> I have it running a version od Debian Squeeze
<Freemor> of Debian... even..
<Freemor> Hmmmmm.. no ohci_hcd,ehci_hcd,uhci_hcd modules in Dagda/natty... must be a newer kernel doing something different with the usb.. ho hum.. time to search the net to see what they did...
<Freemor> Solved the problem.. system needed a reboot some glitch in the Usb sub-systems
<wpwrak> very subtle :)
<Freemor> Hey, sometimes you just gotta hit it with a rock :)
