<ocdtrekkie> D: https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/84vc5a/selfhosting_apache_on_win_10_and_running_ubuntu/ Someone's trying to run Sandstorm.io out of a VM on a Windows box. This sounds kinda unholy, but I am intrigued.

<xet7> ocdtrekkie: I added comment to that reddit post about enabling websockets at apache etc :)
<ocdtrekkie> \o/
<ocdtrekkie> xet7: It looks like Andres has fixes for all the remaining stuff I had seen with 0.77!
<xet7> ocdtrekkie: Yes, I'm testing them currently.
<ocdtrekkie> Let me know how it goes. :)
<xet7> Yes :)
<xet7> most likely you'll see issues closed etc :D
<ocdtrekkie> I think we're probably close on WordPress too.
<ocdtrekkie> It looks good to me, at least, but I don't really know the extent to what people did with it, or have grains to upgrade.
<xet7> I can test wordpress on my 200MB+ crazy big WordPress website I made, I hacked some files here and there
<xet7> there is some too big images, so I'm unable to download it because of grain download bug (if it's not fixed yet)
<ocdtrekkie> To my knowledge, you just need a fast enough or reliable enough connection for the download not to interrupt, but AFAIK, large downloads is still an issue for Sandstorm.
<xet7> import grain not found bug is not fixed yet after latest fixes
<xet7> well, I did leave big "DANGER" text with h1 size for it :D
<xet7> and leave import enabled, so it can be debugges
<xet7> debugged
<xet7> otherwise Wekan works very well at sandstorm
<xet7> I'll make new Wekan release
<xet7> ocdtrekkie: Is there difference do I build Wekan for Sandstorm on Ubuntu 14.04 or Debian Sid ? Do grains include libc etc, so it works on Ubuntu 14.04 even if I compile on Debian Sid ?
<xet7> It seems that upgraded boards don't get swimlanes at Sandstorm, only new boards

<kentonv> xet7, all userspace files (including all libraries) for your app are shipped in your package, so there's no risk of version skew with the host machine.

<kentonv> ocdtrekkie, I think I just successfully pushed a vagrant-spk release
<kentonv> .... and I just noticed you have a pull request against vagrant-spk, oops
<ocdtrekkie> FWIW, I don't know if my PR actually works or not. :P
<ocdtrekkie> https://github.com/sandstorm-io/vagrant-spk/releases <- I kinda expected the script to upload the EXE, based on when I read it.
<ocdtrekkie> So I am guessing something failed.
<ocdtrekkie> I guess Linux and Mac users don't care too much about releases, mind you, it looks like the install instructions have those users git clone to "install" vagrant-spk.
<kentonv> ocdtrekkie, apparently the exe was left as a "draft". Released now.
<ocdtrekkie> Looks good. :)
<ocdtrekkie> I will test it out and see if I can make it work.
<ocdtrekkie> Ooooh, I think I remember why I don't have VirtualBox installed. It conflicted with my VMware install. :(
<ocdtrekkie> Sadly, Asheesh's magical release script doesn't update the app version here: https://github.com/sandstorm-io/vagrant-spk/blob/master/windows-support/windows-installer.iss but this is not really a big deal.
<ocdtrekkie> Heh, that date is older than literally like all of the vagrant-spk releases, it's never been changed.
