has anyone who uses photoshop played with Invision LiveShare? It's this really awesome photoshop plugin that broadcasts your photoshop document onto a web page that live-updates whenever you make changes. really handy for collaboratively working on designs with stakeholders
<mnutt__>
anyway, I think something like it would make a pretty cool sandstorm app.

Whoa, I imagine neynah would find that fascinating.

of course adobe does their plugins in the craziest way possible, photoshop internally uses a thing that is sort-of javascript called adobe-javascript that uses a js bridge to talk to an embedded webkit engine presumably running javascriptcore, which then talks to an embedded node.js process through a socket. crazy stuff.

Interesting - do you need to enable port 444 on your router etc?
<arcangel93>
ill double check
<arcangel93>
thanks
<asheesh>
I see "address unreachable" when I attempt to visit it, in my browser
<asheesh>
Which suggests that maybe you need a different port still
<arcangel93>
yeah ill tinker with it soon
<asheesh>
I would try 445 honestly
<arcangel93>
ok thanks
<asheesh>
Seems to give me a different error code.
<asheesh>
AFK for a little bit; keep me posted.
<arcangel93>
kk will do

<asheesh>
Not sure, but that's one possibility. AFK for a bit!
<asheesh>
arcangel93: Oh whoa
<asheesh>
Line 3
<asheesh>
MONGO_PORT=608
<asheesh>
Normally that's 6081
<asheesh>
I recommend keeping it at 6081!

Hrm. Still getting Groovebasin shut down while it's in use, despite https://github.com/sandstorm-io/sandstorm/pull/1553 Firefox on Android with "Wake Lock" app set to "Partial Wakelock (CPU active)" 1 second after Sandstorm supervisor shuts down the grain (~4.5-5.5 minutes), it starts it right back up again.
<digitalcircuit>
Retrying with wake lock set to keep screen on in case Firefox isn't allowing keepalives to be sent with screen off (CPU active). If that solves it, maybe there should be an alternative way to request Sandstorm keep a grain alive. (Or a Groovebasin Android app)
<digitalcircuit>
Seems to be working with the screen on, so Firefox Mobile must be blocking the keepalive requests even though it's still playing the stream. Any way to keepalive for longer (few hours), I guess, or detect active streaming connections and not kill the grain?

In case others have tried using the Android app "Solid Explorer 2" with a self-hosted Sandstorm Davros grain, I've heard back from the developer saying they'll look into supporting SNI. Here's to hoping.

hows it going digitalcircuit

Going moderately well, I think, nearing university spring break! How's it going for you, arcangel93?
