18:03 <digitalcircuit> dlitz: Groovebasin MPD is actually disabled in the grain itself, according to the "MPD Protocol disabled" printed in the log. dwrensha might be able to help..? I do agree that supporting it for mobile playback would be great; Firefox on mobile doesn't send the needed keepalive pings to Sandstorm when the screen's off.

18:30 <dlitz> digitalcircuit: Thanks; I haven't looked too closely at MPD support for GrooveBasin yet. At first glance, it looks tricky because MPD is a raw stream-based protocol, not HTTP-based, and I'm not even sure if Sandstorm supports that.

18:30 <dlitz> digitalcircuit: Theoretically, something could be done to use TLS client certs like bearer tokens, but that would be really gross without some kind of automated provisioning protocol.

20:07 <digitalcircuit> dlitz: I think Sandstorm supports translating protocols using a Cap'n-Proto bridge (preferred), or offering raw IpNetwork access (requires admin token), but I'm not entirely sure how either would work for Groovebasin.
