14:54 <SeanTAllen> if you do make install it will install each version in its own directory and whichever you installed last will be the active one

14:54 <SeanTAllen> those are all in /usr/local/lib/pony

14:55 <SeanTAllen> it installs in your local build directory

14:55 <SeanTAllen> if you pull updates and rebuild you should get the changes but you dont always so i generally do make install

14:55 <SeanTAllen> and if i am building without installing

14:56 <SeanTAllen> if i have pulled updates, i do `rm -rf build/*` before running make again "just to be sure" as every now and then make has gotten confused and ive ended up with weird errors that i wasted tons of time tracking down
