<ravelo> thanks Joerg-Neo900
<ravelo> did not know about springfix
<ravelo> it's hard to find
<Joerg-Neo900> I prolly should pinp the wiki, a lot
<ravelo> i'll convince my local cell phone repair guy to do it
<Joerg-Neo900> springfix? they'll laugh at you. Also note that springfix is only a temporary solution, error will return after weeks or months the latest
<Joerg-Neo900> ask your repair shop to reflow the chips
<Joerg-Neo900> they just need to remove domesheet and camera (and whatelse is thermoplast and I forgot) and then carefully heat up the chips under the opened cans to the solder reflow temperature. They're supposed to know how to do that
<Joerg-Neo900> apply very low viscosity flux to creep under the chips, before reflow
<Joerg-Neo900> I guess the yield of such fix is >70% and it's a permanent fix when it works
<Joerg-Neo900> of course you can still do that after springfix starts to fail
<ravelo> ok thanks
<Joerg-Neo900> yw :-)
<ravelo> will try that first

<jonsger> Joerg-Neo900: and did you unboxed the 40 N900s?
<Joerg-Neo900> rest pending, my unboxing "max headroom background" is only available after careful schedule
<jonsger> :)
<jonsger> neo900.org should use https (lets encrypt) :)
<Joerg-Neo900> umm, no. We use plain old good SSL certs
<Joerg-Neo900> I just absolutely don't want to *force* anything onto visitors of that site
<Joerg-Neo900> CA Thawte
<Joerg-Neo900> and tbh I don't want that LE stuff running on my servers to update certs every other week. It also completely defeats cert pinning
<Joerg-Neo900> and I'd *never* use a LE cert for the shop
<Joerg-Neo900> since shop is actually about server authentication, not only about encryption

<Joerg-Neo900> the 3 cookies I got are most likely from shop (prestashop) - sorry for that
<jonsger> Joerg-Neo900: where to send patches for the neo900-git repo?
<Joerg-Neo900> which patches?
<Joerg-Neo900> prolly per email to contact@neo900
<jonsger> a missed link on the website, nothing spectaculare :) okay
<Joerg-Neo900> well, that would be webmaster aka how900 then, I'm not sure which email addr or other transfer medium though. I guess what I said will work for now
<Joerg-Neo900> jonsger: thanks!! wpwrak^^^^ your turn I guess
