<argent_smith> is there any ocaml/irmin tutorial with real-life example? i feel like it's a useful thing but… ;)
<sternenseemann> argent_smith: uh
<sternenseemann> argent_smith: https://github.com/Engil/Canopy/blob/master/canopy_store.ml this is as real-life as it gets, but a bit cluttered

<lobo> hannes: seems like your blog is down
<hannes> lobo: yes, some routers decided to drop the prefix. not sure how to move forward there: I can access the host (from my office or via vpn, but not from my home), but it can't access either let's encrypt, nor github...
<hannes> according to my IP provider, it prefix is announced at their borders -- but at some point on friday some bits/routers decided to ignore it, I've no idea how to fix this :(
<engil> oh so Canopy+letsencryt is a thing ? like, it works ?
<engil> looked into it from afar but didn't knew it was production ready :-)
<hannes> engil: I do manual updates... I think a missing piece is writable persistent storage..
<hannes> (by manual I mean I use dehydrated to get a new certificate, and then compile that new certificate into my canopy unikernel)
<engil> I see
<engil> latest dinosaure patch fixes the issue with ocaml-git on Xen at least
<engil> tried quickly on linux but got a problem related to fd
<engil> I need to report that
<hannes> cool, pls merge.. I wanted to test, but then got into this network split problem.. :(
<engil> I think there was already a report somewhere about this
<engil> will merge
<engil> thank you for your work everyone btw, I'm a terrible "non-maintainer", but I'm super happy to see Canopy living on :), and the latest mirage release is amazing
