Have a question about sun8i boards. My serial (in /proc/cpuinfo) changed after I upgraded the kernel from 4.9 to 4.10. Is the serial random generaded in some boot script or is it derived from the hardware and just the code to generate that changed between the kernels?

It seams that the serial is used to generate mac for the wlan and saved to modprobe.d/8189fs.conf . I'm using the "serial" as an id in my "iot" prototype and wlan mac as a id for some network stuff... Luckily only about 13 nodes so not that much of a change, but now it's harder to upgrade since have to upgrade the iot database and few routes in few networks

Hi, i try to get some output from u-boot on my tablet (ibowin P130 | A33 1280x800 ). UART via microsd breakout is working but nothing on the lcd. I realized now that the lcd is probably connected via the MIPI DSI interface. I don't have a fex file, but could get some data from /sys/class/script/dump. That gives me "lcd_if int 4" ...
