_romain_: the user manual for A20 has an "unnamed" entry in the memory map for 0x01C2 3400 - this should be the TZPC. The A10 user manual actually lists / names it :P

NiteHawk: yes, just tested now to read/write this memory region on the Olimex A20 -> always RAZ :/

be aware that the A20 introduced virtualization / security extensions, so even SVC mode might not be able to able to interfere with it (when running under a hypervisor)
<NiteHawk>
but i'm far from being proficient there - just a hint
<_romain_>
NiteHawk: make sense. Sadly just also tested in a bare metal asm code, just after u-boot, in monitor mode (CPSR=0x??????16) and still RAZ :-(

ah i see A83T manual has PL port descript seems to match the A33 schematic i have...
<mripard>
sawtooth: the PRCM never really has been documented
<sawtooth>
mripard: i have a little hope that the 2nd SPI is on PG6-PG9 like with A83T
<sawtooth>
A33 & A83T PG ports have the same functions
<sawtooth>
could they have wired SPI1 there too for A33 ?
<mripard>
yeah, they could have
<sawtooth>
A83T doesn't have PA either, so i'd think there's hope for A33
<mripard>
it doesn't mean they did.
<sawtooth>
i'll definitely test it when i have a chance

<rgwan>
eh....Any other solution of this?

<RSpliet>
one in staging, one on github from some guy who does a lot of RealTek wifi driver, and...can't recall the third
<libv>

congrats on getting emmc running though, this is the most extreme hw hack we have seen so far, at least the most extreme one which was successful

<NiteHawk>
wut? :D

oh, every kind of mali it seems. m400, m450, and t720
<libv>
perhaps i should go beat some drums about the fact that ARM is actually worse than IMG
<NiteHawk>
ah, atom x3
<libv>
that could get interesting
<libv>
if intel backs that one, then the one guy who is totally disallowed to work for intel (even though the person who vetoed it has since been actively removed from intel), pioneered modesetting, coreboot native display, open documentation (although, that was when egbert and i were brainstorming about ati), and their low power gpu
<libv>
and if things hadn't worked out that way, we could've had something more advanced than atomic modesetting is today back in 2008.
