Melisa_: Cortex-A7 doesn't seem to be a supported platform for FreeRTOS.. think first step is search for a platform supporting RTOS..

Hi DianNaoMao,thanks for you answer. I had read this post :http://www.cubieforums.com/index.php/topic,797.0.html And it seems that they are running RT kernel in a cubieboard2. I just want to RTOS, I know that FreeRTOS is not for Cubieboard.

Melisa_: interesting post. I have to pass on that.. goes too deep into system design for me.. If I understand correctly, kernel seems to be RT capable with the patch.. but the rest of the system needs to be calling the proper modules.. so the whole environment needs to be matched..
