Hey. Quick question for anyone in the know. When buying a dev board, should one go for the A10 or A20? A20 is obviously more powerful and only increases price by USD8 or 9, but the A10 seems better supported and has more documentation

- A10 has begun to be supported on mainline of kernel.org (you can see basic support for timer, etc in kernel 3.9 >), A20 don't have that.

My idea is to stick it behind my TV. Android on NAND and Debian on an SD card. Most of the time it will be running Debian headless

I made some benchmark test in android of A10 vs A20 and improvements are visible on A20 BUT some parts, like GFX, doesn't work perfectly and results change every time I run the Antutu (decreasing of a lot)

A10 is available only with 4.0.4 and A20 start with 4.2.2 for example

I guess in A20 the Android OS is more supported than linux due the AllWinner sell its chips mainly to tablet and tv-stick makers

No SATA, but even using ntfs-3g I get 25mbps throughput on USB drives, which is double the max throughput of 10/100
