the best scheme I have so far looks something like, take users password, hash into 6 values to be hardened. copy those 6 values, and add 4 more static values with known hardenings. Then blind all 16 values and ask the host to harden each of them (which it can do in parallel). Hello. I'm wondering about one aspect of bitcoin, which I can't understand so far. For as far as I know when bitcoin started (and I mean the absolute beginning) how was bitcoin brought into circulation? Nobody owned any coins yet, there weren't any transactions yet, so nothing to mine and getting rewarded for. So how did people get the first bitcoins to start using the currency?
