Joerg-Neo900: (slew rate) my best guess is that the relevant capacitance of our DMN26D0UT would be Ciss = ~15 pF @ 4 V, 1 MHz. so 10 kOhm series should yield about 1 MHz (shortest IR pulse is 1.6 us, so that's ~300 kHz square)

ok, I re-checked all parameters of IR driver, all ok. Maybe a 2.2kR gate-series would be more appropriate, I get a 1.5us characteristic time (63%) for 10kR*15pF
