<hjc4869> Having some issues with rockchip-xserver on RK3399. Whenever I enable the xfwm compositor, the desktop does not draw and becomes gray. Just like this: https://mega.nz/#!u4FiwI4K!kUrzOSAl2kZjeAJgMHv0BcsmeAJcAEf63tmgmiKu3dM
<hjc4869> I'm using Debian buster with rockchip x11 1.19
<hjc4869> Does anyone encounter similar issues?

<Ke> how is rockchip-xserver different from xorg?
<Ke> is this some tweak to make mali blob work?

<hjc4869> I don't know the details of rockchip-xserver, but it seems that it supports using glamor on mali gpu.
<hjc4869> BTW for RK3399, rockchip-xserver seems to be the only way to use OpenGL ES on X11.

<TJ-> I've got a 5G Miracast/Airplay device based on Rockchip 2207:292a using rk2928sdk with an embedded Android OS. It used to properly output 720p when connected via a HDMI>VGA>1280x1024 Projector. After a while it got a little ropey at switching resolution correctly. Now it only outputs @ 1920x1080 which is 'out of range'. I've dumped the device's MTD partitions to see if I could find some saved config
<TJ-> without success. I read that the output is likely controlled via /sys/class/display/display/HDMI/mode. When in miracast mode the only user access is a basic HTTP server (boa) and DNS. I'm wondering if anyone knows of kernel command-line options that might influence the mode? Only source-code I've found so far is drivers/video/hdmi/chips/rk610/rk610_hdmi_hw.c which doesn't show any modparms

<Myy> Which branch integrate the latest VPU code ? Is it this one ? https://github.com/rockchip-linux/kernel/tree/dev-mpp-device/drivers/video/rockchip/vpu
<Myy> Well, there doesn't seem to be any "vpu" folder in the other branches so I guess that's this one
