<rperier> amstan,mmind00: I have just bought "speedy" :D
<rperier> which means that I will probably work on wifi and bluetooth in mainline when I will get it

<mmind00> rperier: congrats ... wifi is mwifiex, it loads and connects but I haven't been able to reliably transmit data yet, so fix away ;-)
<rperier> and apparently it works throught sdio, as I understood (according to firefly schematic and rk3288-speedy.dts in chromeos kernel)
<rperier> mmind00: so.... how do you proceed actually for internet connection ? usb-gadget and ethernet ?

<mmind00> rperier: and as I said, it probes fine, also connects to the wifi, but when I start transmitting data it somehow dies :-)
<mmind00> rperier: so currently I just use an smsc95xx usb ethernet
<naobsd> I waaaaaaaant to buy RK3288 based Chromebook
<naobsd> it's not yet sold in JP
<mmind00> naobsd: I guess rperier also imports it from the usa?
<naobsd> probably I have to use some proxy/transfer service

<rperier> mmind00: I was wondering something, that's coreboot or uboot on rockchip-based chromebooks ?
<mmind00> rperier: coreboot
<rperier> ohh yeaaahhh !!
<rperier> :)
<mmind00> and with a nice dual-boot possibility ... so it's not necessary to touch chromeos on the emmc, as you can have a secondary os on an sd card and decide on boot which one to start

<rperier> yes this is what I found on internet, that's really great (I found an article on wiki.debian.org, explaining how to install and boot this chromebook on linux, it has a lot of great possibilities)

<rperier> mmind00: nice "background" btw, you just miss a sangria ;D
<mmind00> rperier: :-D ... nah, that hinders the coding
<c0d3z3r0> mmind00: you don't know the ballmer peak? :P
<mmind00> c0d3z3r0: :-P read this, but I like being sober much more ;-)
<c0d3z3r0> :D
<rperier> this is exactly what I was looking for (but I did not remember its name) : the ballmer peak :D
<rperier> when the peak ends... you don't want to read your code again ... usually that's fun :D
<c0d3z3r0> rperier: yeah I always forget the name, too. but googling for "alcohol coding" you will get it as the second resutl
<rperier> :-)
