I have private network of ipfs nodes (all are running IPFS-js), and I am trying to upload some DAGs, that have modified CID computation (the multihash is based only on few properties of object, not whole object). I tried to overwrite CID computation of cbor format (to only takes few properties of object) for all of my nodes. This was not working and strange things started happening. Is there a better way to store

Libp2p blocks are blobs of data that are defined by their hashes, I recommend not messing around with hashes manually yourself, and only use the whole digest of the whole blob of whatever block you are trying to distribute

Which is an absolute core part of libp2p, I *strongly* recommend you not messing with this as (multi)hash -> blob is one of the foundational cornerstones that the libp2p network works with, if you start overwriting part of it (and not make it match the rest of the implimentation), *obviously* some strange behaviour will occur from other parts of the library, or from other nodes, as a result of this hijacking

I would not said that this is something like database lookup. I thing that this is more like REST api. I do not need to filter objects for every property (like `where ID < 10 and ID > 20`).
