swedneck__: I now measured 783s (13 minutes) for adding 94 GB (raw-leaves, CIDv1 but with standard sha256)
<bmwiedemann1>
files are on SSD and probably much of it pre-cached in RAM, because the machine got 192GB and I just rsynced the (new) files there.
<bmwiedemann1>
err. only 144 GB RAM

So that makes it 120 MB/s - maybe with filestore one could get higher rates, because it does not need to copy data around - but then you need to ensure that files remain unchanged - e.g. with chattr +i

Is there a 'health check' URL on the IPFS gateway that will always return an HTTP 200 OK?

❓ Is there any way to initialize a _browser_ js-ipfs node with a private key provided that overwrites whatever key is saved in the config or keychain of the browser's IndexedDB without deleting them?
<M5310Discord[m]>
I want the users to be able to "log in" with different credentials without having to delete the existing repositories in a hacky way because the module doesn't expose a transparent API to do so. Currently I'm just deleting the `<reponame>`( and `<reponame>/keys`, because I also use passphrases), IndexedDBs before creating my nodes.

Honestly, I don't see the point in having a `init` config as part of creating a node if it isn't ever used when configs from an older node exists. Why even call it `init` then?
