I have connections set to 300-600 and it always creates a new connections until limit is reached and then closing them. Isn't better to set it like 500-600?

you can't
<hsn>
you must create new folder and re-upload it with new files included.

so this means that if i wanted to lets say create a simple message board, using IPFS as storage, where master folder would represent whole board, and sub-folders would represent topics. If someone else would like to upload new content to sub-folder, they would have to upload entire structure with new data added under new master folder, right?

im thinking of creating something where whole computing is done client side

but one uploading for it to work would have to reupload entire thing, so if in my model everything would be computed locally in browser, and if theoretically it grows. in order to upload new text you would have to upload everything everyone uploaded so far + new text, do i understand it correctly?
<voker57>
generally you don't "upload" something in IPFS
<voker57>
you index it and host
<voker57>
it's like an extended bittorrent
<shuib>
ok thanks for clarification!
<voker57>
so if you have a forum structure, and you add a post, you take an existing structure, modify it, and host the blocks you changed
<voker57>
new forum structure will have a different hash but it will link to some of the old ones
<shuib>
ok that makes sense. thanks a lot!
<shuib>
ok one last question, to make sure that i understand. but hash of "master folder" would change every time something is added, right?
<voker57>
yes

"this software is the best deterrent to ipfs adoption" , can you elaborate which software or what you mean exactly?
<voker57>
go-ipfs
<voker57>
and things I specifically mean are its resource consumption and code quality
<notkoos>

err, I mean in my view, the go-implementation is the primary version currently, so it seems similar to saying that "firefox is a deterrent to firefox adoption" lol

rboreal_frippery: I found the go-ipfs to have plenty quirks though. Which might be expected when everyone calls it "alpha"
