does bitswap store non-pinned blocks (that you have just grabbed for other peers) in your RAM?

Seems like that could create a sketchy legal precedent
<Kolonka[m]>
ie in the case of grabbing blocks that aren't allowed in your jurisdiction

Question: I get that an IPFS peer-id (server pubkey) expands with IPNS to a single CID (at a time). Do I have it right that to have more than one IPNS record, I have to generate another keypair for it? If I've got it right, then is it also true that if I want to serve 20 or 50 different bits of mutable content I need to generate 20 or 50 keypairs?
<Kolonka[m]>
in that case, what is contained in the "non-persistent caches" that use the RAM, mentioned on page 7 of the whitepaper?
f0i has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
<whyrusleeping>
rjharmon: or you could link to a directory containing each of your different things
<whyrusleeping>
kinda like you don't need 50 domains to serve 50 different pages
<whyrusleeping>
you can have mydomain.com/page1 ... mydomain.com/page50

How can I search IPFS?
<rjharmon>
whyrusleeping: is that essentially an ipld-resolved path (once mydomain.com becomes a peer-id, deref'd to the current domain "directory")? will pathinfo work in the DNS TXT record?
<rjharmon>
(also: thanks!)
<whyrusleeping>
yep
<whyrusleeping>
putting a path in the dnslink should work (if thats what youre asking)
<rjharmon>
Would DNS be the recommended technique if I wish to avoid public visibility of other IPNS data stored in such a directory?

its a bit of state at user-context that can be privately generated & privately shared
