<hste>
jas-hacks_: I have some net problems running xbmc. It looks like net is more unstable with heavy load. Do u think it could be some usb power problem? My dm9601 dongle is stable, but another I have
<hste>
a smc dongle get errors
<hste>
when I have little load its ok
<jas-hacks_>
hste: did you get the same problem on the ubuntu builds?
<hste>
jas-hacks_: I don't think so.
<jas-hacks_>
are they using the same kernel driver?
<hste>
yes
<jas-hacks_>
may be a different chipset in the dongle?
<hste>
yes they use different modules
<jas-hacks_>
do they both work ok in a normal PC?
<hste>
yes
<hste>
others have reported netproblems using some dongles on xbmc
<jas-hacks_>
Have you tried a powered usb hub?
<hste>
no, but another user trying my xbmc for gk802 did and he had problems getting dhcp
<hste>
I was also thinking that could be the problem, but as he used a asix dongle that worked on your image
