I think it's more to do with power. It crashed a lot before I stuck another heat sink on there. It'll run antutus 3d benchmark all the way through now but I can't get that temple run game to go into the game itself

hste_: 1034260 bytes, if you look somewhere in the machine definition file it preallocates 192Mb if you have vivante enabled in the config

it's enabled even if you compiled vivante as a module, I don't know if that's necessary

it's probably safe though because you may not have 192mb of contiguous free memory when you come to load the module

the 5mb i think is preallocated for IPU, the prealloc is there near the vivante one

this is actually pretty usable: I'm connected laptop->bluetooth->phone (on train in Melbourne)->VPN on GK802->VPS in Sydney->Freenode server somewhere in Europe

it might be possible to rejig the module to use less memory (presumably if you're not doing any 3d it won't need all of it), idk
