<GRCB0T> Title: The Democracy Foundation (at democracy.foundation)

<Vodonik> layout has more to do with css than html, but ill take a look
<Vodonik> try putting display: inline-block on the images
<Vodonik> first thing i can think of
<Combined2857> Vodonik: i found it I had to make 3 divs and put each picture in each div and make divs align left
<Combined2857> and remove margins
<Combined2857> now it works, thanks :)
<Vodonik> i just put display: inline-block on the divs containing the images and they aligned
<Vodonik> although you dont need a div for each image, they are both block elements and they sit on their own line
<Vodonik> but whatever works :)
<Combined2857> Vodonik: how come they didn't line before ?
MiXa1972 has joined #gridcoin
<Vodonik> because img is a block element
<Vodonik> and block elements take whole width of the page
<Vodonik> meaning you cant have more than one next to each other
<Vodonik> so you pu display: inline-block to make them sit next to each other
<Combined2857> so I had to put <img class="size-medium wp-image-613" align="inline-block" ?
<Combined2857> can you type the code please?
<Vodonik> display is a css property
<Vodonik> so if you apply it internaly right in the img tag
<Vodonik> it would be
<Vodonik> <img class="size-medium wp-image-613" style="display: inline-block;">
<Combined2857> let me try one moment please
<Vodonik> but better make an external css file and put all your css there
<Mercosity> Erkan_Yilmaz I'm not blacklisted according to all tests I've done, IP and email. Do you know of any tests I can use to specifically test email address?
<Combined2857> Vodonik: it worked !
<Vodonik> cool :)
<Combined2857> Vodonik: sadly thought I had to remove this [caption] shortcode I had
<Combined2857> If I try to do it with divs should i do <div style="display: inline-block;"></div> ?
<Combined2857> or with divs the inline-block code is different ?
<Vodonik> that would work
<Vodonik> it would make divs sit next to each other
* reddy1975 is away: I'm bussy or out of laptop / Jsem zaneprázdněný nebo mimo laptop
<Vodonik> but applying css right there in the html tag is very inefficient

<Vodonik> There is. It's called responsive design and its a science on its own

<[-SaRaFiNa-]> Linked by Combined2857 - The Democracy Foundation
<Combined2857> now*
<Combined2857> but at least now they are in the same line on the desktop Vodonik
<Vodonik> you can have separate css file for your desktop and for your mobile
<Vodonik> and style them independently
<Vodonik> so when you reduce screen size
<Vodonik> desktop style backs off and mobile style kicks in
<Vodonik> and vise-versa

<customminer> ravon: Yes, both windows and linux participate in staking blocks. Currently, only the windows client creates the neural network. The neural network tracks BOINC stats.
<ravon> So 10% of the coins is worth as much as 10% of the crunching
<customminer> ravon: yes

<customminer> ravon: It is. Although, a vote weight does not incentivise staking.
<customminer> Currently that is.
<ravon> But it should IMO :)
<customminer> Idk, not participating in voting shouldn't punish your stake weight.
<ravon> No, that's not what I'm saying. Look, the coin and network needs two things to stay alive: People crunching and people staking.

<fediverse> apc I appreciate the wallet and its developers and packagers, and you

<Peppernrino> if voting is your incentive to stake, you're gonna get bored.

<apc> er wait... that might be backwards

<customminer> ravon: Idk, IMO mag should not be equal to balance in terms of stake weight. I don't think we should disqualify coins from staking due to not voting.
<ravon> Or maybe we don't have inactive wallets dropping in and voting and I'm just pushing a moot point :)
<apc> that's silly. you can't eat a number
<ravon> customminer, You're getting my point backwards. I do not want idle wallets to have vote weight.

<Peppernrino> <ubottu> xchat and xchat-gnome have not had stable releases in years. xchat was removed from Ubuntu for 16.04. Consider using hexchat instead, which is actively developed and available in 14.04 onwards.

<ravon> customminer, No, I mean you can (still hypothetically) own 99% of the coins, have them cold stored and "win" all the polls. Though, the chance someone would do that and the implications it would have is still way, way, less than the risk of a pool owner doing it.
