After we have that, we let the market decide which transactions happen where. If as big of a blockchain as is technologically possible is not enough for all blockchain-preferred transactions, then Mike Hearn's Crash Landing is what happens.

It's only trusting that >50% of mining power is not trying to defraud them, and trusting that they are not isolated from the network and connected exclusively to cancer nodes
