rekado: no it doesn't - i had to take ethernet off
00:19
<
lkcl >
if i added ethernet onto the micro-desktop PCB it would have to be done in one of two (maybe 3) ways:
00:19
<
lkcl >
(1) lose one of the USB ports and add in exactly the same components that you get
*in* one of those USB-ETH dongles
00:20
<
lkcl >
(2) add in a 4-port Hub IC
*then* add exactly the same components as you get in those USB-ETH dongles
00:20
<
lkcl >
(3) put down the components from something like a LAN9512 or LAN9514 which is a hybrid USB-ETH + 2/4 port USB Hub.
00:21
<
lkcl >
each way it's about $3 worth of components and a lot of hassle...

rekado: i wanted to keep the micro-desktop well.... micro :)

Hi! I'm evaluating EOMA68 CPU card as a media center unit. I've had an idea that i could connect via HDMI to my TV set and play videos. Is it a good idea?
