<pabs3> mth: if you put foreign in the AC_INIT... thing it ignores missing ChangeLog
<mth> pabs3: thanks, I'll do that
<pabs3> might be AM_INIT actually, I forget
<mth> AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
<mth> now that I know what to search for, it was easy to find
<mth> of course the actual configure.in looks nothing like the documentation...
<mth> DocScrutinizer05: I think it's a good idea to have GNU subprojects enforce their rules by a tool, but if that tool is used by lots of non-GNU projects as well, it would make sense to not have that option turned on by default

<larsc> pcercuei: We've decided to send you to Paris and Madrid, hope that is OK.
<pcercuei> sure, when?
<larsc> October
<larsc> for one day each
<pcercuei> I'm not a salesman, what will I have to do exactly?
<larsc> Speak french and spanish
<larsc> and explain how contiki works ;)
<pcercuei> NOOOOOOOOOOOO
<pcercuei> j/k. I can do that
<larsc> good
<pcercuei> btw. I added a pinctrl driver for jz4770: https://github.com/gcwnow/linux/blob/jz-3.12/drivers/pinctrl/pinctrl-jz4770.c
<pcercuei> jz4740 support would be nice, then we can clean all the common drivers that call the macros __gpio_as_input() etc.
<larsc> nice
<pcercuei> on the MMC driver for instance
<larsc> yes, there is sort of custom pinctrl support in jz4740 which predates the generic pin support
<larsc> apelete: Another thing that needs to be done, add pinctrl support for jz4740
