<wpwrak> freemangordon: thanks for confirming the 2.6 vs. 4.6+ situation ! that's pretty much what i expected. it's always like that - sticking with an old kernel may be tempting at some point, but it quickly turns into an uphill battle.
<wpwrak> furthermore, since you can't "keep up" anyway, the focus will then shift to maintaining functionality but not fixing bugs that don't visibly affect functionality. e.g., security issues.
