Actually I'm using AOA (android open accessory) to connect with the PLC but is not so reliable....

shineworld: Coupling the cubieboard2 with a TTL serial GPS module would be interesting for me. The main issue is to tell the android base system where a GPS signal is to be found...

Hmm. Just found some information in the forums.

for example android emulator provide a GPS Mock module to emulate a GPS device which don't exist

I guess is necessary to check the AOSP sources to get how to create a proprietary module which uses a ttl connected device

if it's that simple, that would be rather interesting. I've got a small 7" tft with hdmi connector that I could use with the cb2... hmm... then there's the power supply issue... Okay, all in all I'll get a very, very precise, very quick navigation system that is rather big ;)
