This is making my head spin a bit.. I need to cut off an angled slice of a cylinder

so I extruded the cylinder and now I'm trying to figure out how to get a workplane that has the cylinder angled at 40 degrees from the bottom edge.

I have a construction line that is at this angle, but I guess I need another line 90 degrees to this and also 40 degrees off of the bottom edge?

yes, so I need to switch to another plane that is only one axis different and draw another line. Cool!
