<azonenberg> What does it mean when a face is outlined in red?
<whitequark> azonenberg: outlined? that means bare edges
<whitequark> basically, the mesh operation has failed
<whitequark> solutions are (rarely) to decrease chord tolerance, (usually) to bring the part slightly off symmetry. E.g. if you try to lathe a sphere and then add a cylinder thru it the NURBS backend will break
<whitequark> but you can make it work by making the cylinder very slightly off center
<whitequark> I know this is crap, but I do not even know anyone with the right knowledge to fix this, much less the (what I assume aree) required funds
<azonenberg> Hmm, interesting
<azonenberg> Yeah so looks like i had two collinear lines that met at the end
<azonenberg> i think that if i merge them it might work
<cr1901_modern> bare edges?
<whitequark> erm
<whitequark> naked edges
