creepy: I removed all the Google Analytics embeds from sandstorm.io and capnproto.org, but Analytics is still reporting non-zero visitors.

eh it looks like somehow some people are seeing very very old cached copies of the page... like years-old in some cases. I have no idea how that's possible, though.

Like, I know my phone's browser will almost always load the old version of a site when I reopen the browser and it's restoring tabs, until I manually refresh it.

it's kind of like how our server IP addresses get a lot of traffic meant for some great-firewall-evading proxy service that used to be hosted on App Engine with the same IP... *years* ago
