Is there an image with a bit more up-to-date kernel? 3.0.39 seems more than a bit manky and old.
<basil1x>
Also, an image using Xfce would be nice, considering how tragic LXDE is.
<basil1x>
Yes, the board has arrived, Android is gone, and I'm looking to find out if there's any reason not to return it. The sound is all static, the image displayed is not clear, You can't read the terminal at all.
<basil1x>
Quite frankly, I expected more for $160.
<basil1x>
Sound fixed. Picture still rubbish.

Fedora has ARM images. Is there any way to flash one of them to NAND, and use it instead?
<basil1x>
because they're actually current, and I can choose something other than LXDE for a DE.

your explanation is not clear, we can't understand your problem at all...
<basil1x>
Outdated images, and no possibility of making either a Fedora image myself, or using the prebuilt Fedora ARM images available through them. I thought it was perfectly clear.

The only thing I want to know is how can I change resolution on the FHD ubuntu image. I've followed the steps on the wiki to change it lower, but all I get is a blurry screen, and changing the scale doesn't have any effect whatsoever.
<Ullarah>
Android worked fine for me, but it isn't quite keyboard friendly unfortunately.

<naobsd>
"the image displayed is not clear", image == firmware image?
<naobsd>
what is "outdated images"
<Ullarah>
naobsd, the display.
<naobsd>
Ullarah: which you changed, framebuffer resolution or HDMI mode
<Ullarah>
/sys/class/display/HDMI/mode
<Ullarah>
Or something similar.
<naobsd>
Ullarah: ah, sorry, I could understand your question, my messages were for basil1x
<Ullarah>
When I tried the FB resolution change, nothing happened.
