The Rock Lite has a headphone (analog audio out) jack, right?
<
basil1x>
I think so.
<
basil1x>
Rock Pro just arrived today.
<
basil1x>
Ubuntu flashed to NAND
<
basil1x>
That Android thing is
**HATEFUL**
<
basil1x>
Is there a way I can put my /home on the SD reader, instead of the NAND, so I can have more room for programmes?
<
mwcampbell1>
Sure, add an entry for it in /etc/fstab
<
mwcampbell1>
Are you familiar with fstab?
<
basil1x>
But I can get familiar.
<
basil1x>
I want to move /root to the SD as well... 8GB is insufficient, considering I can't abide LXDE
<
mwcampbell1>
You really shouldn't have much of anything under /root
<
basil1x>
Well... Xfce to replace LXDE, all my programmes... it'll add up.
<
basil1x>
Xfce is ½GB all by itsen.
<
mwcampbell1>
What I mean is that most of your data files should be in the home directory of your non-root account, not in /root
<
mwcampbell1>
Ideally, /root should have next to nothing in it, because you don't do much as root
<
mwcampbell1>
Anyway, this is all general Linux stuff, so probably not appropriate for this channel. Private-message me if you want more help though
<
basil1x>
If the world were an ideal place.....
<
basil1x>
I'll take you up on that later, if I can. It's me da's birthday, and I have to go now.
