<strmpnk> If I have a like `class ExampleClass is Derivable` that returns `this` on a method, the viewpoint adaptation this->ExampleClass ref claims that ExampleClass box is not a subtype of Derivable ref. I assume I need to specify a stricter capability here?
<strmpnk> Ok. I see what I did. Never mind.... missing a ref on my signature in the interface.
<strmpnk> I'm still getting used to the implicit capabilities. When it won't compile I usually add them till something is clear.
<strmpnk> (implementing brzozowski's derivative for fun)

<dgcaccam> Hey everyone I hope I'm asking in the right place.. I've been playing around with pony and I was wondering if there is any library to extract runtime information (such as memory used, #gc cycles run, etc). I'm currently debugging the runtime to view this information, I just wasn't sure if there was an easier solution. Thanks!

<slfritchie> dgcaccam: Some runtime info & events are instrumented with DTrace. There are lots of parts of the runtime that I'm not familiar with, but ... I think the answer today is to use the FFI carefully to look at the stuff you're interested in.

<dgcaccam> Ok maybe I'll try taking a look into the FFI
