[mattermost] <dpn> Is there a way to get Nix to output progress information for downloads? (I only found references to it no longer being the default.)
<mtrbot-ml>
[mattermost] <dpn> Downloading llvm-or1k/… from https://nixbld.m-labs.hk seems very slow, < 100 kB/s, and there doesn't seem to be any indication as to what the total download size even is
<mtrbot-ml>
[mattermost] <dpn> ("these paths will be fetched (0.00 MiB download, 388.03 MiB unpacked):", but it's clearly more than 0 MiB)
<mtrbot-ml>
[mattermost] <dpn> I guess I can get the size information from https://nixbld.m-labs.hk/build/18220#tabs-details, but surely there must be a better way of checking whether the download is making progress or just hangs than sniffing the traffic?

Anyone know how available the kasli boards are?
<davidc__>
(IE, if I wanted to buy 2 - does anyone stock assembled boards or take short orders?)

[mattermost] <dpn> davidc__: technosystem.pl usually have a few in stock, just ask them for a quote. (I suspect they might be running unusually low at this point, as the next board version is in the works.)
<davidc__>
dpn: I'll shoot them an email... I wish there were just list prices. I hate bothering people for quotes only to determine that pricing is an order-of-magnitude outside what is reasonable for a project :)
